The Libertarian Party was founded on August 20, 2015 and was created in order to promote limited government within the Right to Life region. Our platform is as follows: - An expansion of the Senate from 2(3) to 4(5) members, this may be viewed as a move to make government larger, but in fact more members of the Senate gives more parties an opportunity to make it into the Senate, reducing the chance for single-party dominance. - A suspension of all trading within the Right to Life Lifemarket until it can be established that more frequent and meaningful trade will take place, we like the idea of the Lifemarket but as of now the function does not seem to be working well. - To ensure that any member of the Senate or Government of Right to Life does not attempt to enforce its own views upon other nations of Right to Life, any social and economic positions outside of abortion cannot and should not be forced on other nations, such a thing would act to drive many nations out of Right to Life and would be extremely counter-productive to the pro-life movement. - In the future, if the region continues to grow at the current pace it is, we would be in favor of term limits, however the Libertarian Party of Right to Life recognizes that as of now not enough members are involved in regional politics to make this happen. - To oppose any World Assembly legislation that either acts to force pro-choice positions upon member nations or that forces any other significant social or economic position upon member nations of the World Assembly. - To Make the World Assembly a better place and to slowly reduce legislation seen as compromising the sovereignty of member nations. - To strengthen the RTLA to ensure that our region and our allies are safe from raiders against the pro-life movement. |
